TIM Training Overview

The target audience for this course is all TIM disciplines, including communications, emergency management, emergency medical services (EMS), fire/rescue, law enforcement, towing and recovery, and transportation/public works.

The program focuses on responder safety, effective communication, quick clearance, and reducing incident-related congestion. It provides core competencies that enhance situational awareness and teamwork, which are crucial for reducing secondary crashes and improving overall safety. TIM certification is required for law enforcement by TCOLE, for career firefighters through TCFP, and is necessary for EMS agencies to qualify for TEEX funding. This training fosters better collaboration and networking, ensuring efficient incident operations and enhanced safety for all.
